Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll

phantasmagoria
“In Victorian times, an author who lives by himself in a castle, has visions of a girl named Alice. His name is Lewis Carrol and he finds himself terrified of what waits for him each night. He has become a symptom of his own invention. "Now all my nightmares know my name."”

This is the first long story directed by the always controversial Marilyn Manson. And the film is already getting some controversial comments. This fact is due to the story itself. The movie is a biographic narrative (from the personal perspective of Marilyn Manson) of the great writer Lewis Carrol, the author of Alice in Wonderland.

The film counts with the presence of Marilyn Manson also, which plays the part of Lewis Carrol, but also Tilda Swinton and Lilly Cole.

There’s also a small trailer for the movie which you can watch here! I must say that the trailer contains some impressive images.

It seems an interesting movie; I’ll definitely go to take special attention when this comes out.
